ENGIE invests in hydrogen technology platform H2SITE

ENGIE New Ventures, announces its strategic investment in H2SITE. Headquartered in Bilbao, Spain, H2SITE is a spinoff created by Tecnalia research and technology center and Eindhoven University of Technology. It aims at commercializing a membrane reactor based system able to produce high purity hydrogen, on customer’s premises, from various hydrogen carriers such as methane in particular biomethane and ammonia, etc.

Gogoro pitch on Change NOW exibition on ENGIE Booth in Paris

Gogoro presented its electric Smart scooter and the ” GoStations” recharging infrastructure network, equipped with exchangeable #batteries. The principle is simple: instead of recharging the two Panasonic batteries, the owner of a #Gogoro #electric #scooter exchanges them with others in less than 6 seconds at one of the “Go” stations. Following the Group’s latest investment in Vyntelligence, Yasir Patel (Innovation Development Manager – ENGIE UK & Ireland) recently caught up with Nigel Purcell (Investment Director – ENGIE New Ventures) & Sebastien Vinant (Projects Director – Building as a Service). He also got some input from Harry Mylonadis (Information Systems Manager – ENGIE International FM) to provide info on the completed trials that Vyntelligence carried out with EIFM.

Japan: NICIGAS connects 850,000 Gas Meters with UnaBiz and SORACOM

Nippon Gas Co., Ltd “NICIGAS” gas meters will get a smart makeover by the end of FY2020, thanks to a retrofitted gas meter reader developed by UnaBiz and SORACOM. Led by UnaBiz and SORACOM, the smart makeover will allow the collection of real-time data without the need for a network overhaul. The project marks one of the largest deployments of smart utilities solutions to date.

ENGIE New Ventures invests in smart radiators from Lancey Energy Storage

The french start-up Lancey Energy Storage that develop smart connected electric heaters is moving up a gear with the announcement of its second round of funding: 8 million Euro (after 1.3 million Euro in seed funding in its first year).
